"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is one of those movies, several people claim they never saw in a clean state. If you have seen it without any drugs in your system, you might have noticed the amazing acting skills of Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro.

To play drug-addicts seems to be Johnny Depps favourite. In "From Hell" he is a detective who gets visions when he's high.

After two more pirate-movies, Johnny Depp once again took a part in a Tim Burton movie. It was also the first time in a musical-movie.

"Sweeney Todd - the demon barber of Fleet Street" was one of the most evil parts Johnny Depp ever played (yet).

Johnny Depps first part was in "Nightmare on Elmstreet" where he was sucked into his bed by Freddy Kruger with lots of blood

There's only one character in "What's eating Gilbert Grape" who exceeds every expectation in acting: Leonardo DiCaprio. This movie is just amazing!

"The Ninth Gate" is one of the few movies with Johnny Depp in it, I only watched once and will never again.

Jack Sparrow - oh, excuse me, Captain Jack Sparrow - is the most famous Disney pirate ever. Johnny Depp plays this character as a weird, drunk, rockstar pirate and with that entered the hearts of (almost) everyone in this world.

We expect him to be back on screen in the fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie hopefully in 2012.

In 1986 he played the part of Lerner in "Platoon", a movie about the war in Vietnam. Several scenes of his great performance were cut out as he was so outstanding as a side-character that they feared he would overshadow Charlie Sheen as the leading character.

That's the way we love Johnny Depp: as a romantic, sweet and charming casanova, or simply "Don Juan de Marco"

If you watch a horror-movie made by Tim Burton, you can always expect something amusing. "Sleepy Hollow" is one of those flops, which is funny to watch on a Halloween-night.

"Secret Window" is quite a disturbing movie with Johnny Depp as a delusional writer

Once again in a Tim Burton movie: Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland"

The longest TV-appearence of Johnny was in the teenie-series "21 Jump Street" where he played the undercover officer Hanson. In 71 episodes he appeared in all different costumes, haircuts and personalities.

I never really understood what "Dead Man" really is about, but Johnny Depp made a good performance in it.

Gypsies seem to appeal to Johnny Depp. For "The Man Who Cried" he spent a time with them to prepare for the part of Cesar.

There's only one way to live "Happily ever after": When Johnny depp appears in the last scene of the movie.

It seems that sometimes Johnny had to play parts that are not really that interesting. In "Nick of Time" he plays a father who had to rescue his kidnapped daughter.

"Finding Neverland" is about fantasy, childhood and Sir James Matthew Barrie, the author of Peter Pan.

Johnny Depp seems to fit into this character - he is cowboy, indian, pirate, father-figure and just a sweet man who lives with the child-like fantasy.

"Edward Scissorhand" became Johnny Depps breakthrough. Tim Burton recognized his talent and the two of them became friends.

I'm not quite sure if Johnny Depp or Al Pacino acted more convincing in "Donnie Brasco", but it's a great movie anyway.

A weird movie but nevertheless a great one: "Arizona Dream" is a movie about enjoying life and little adventures.

"The Brave" is one of those movies you might have missed in cinema. It's a somewhat disturbing movie about a native American, who sacrifices himself to help his family. Maybe it loses some of its dynamic as Johnny Depp wrote the script, acted in the leading part and also directed the movie.

You really have to watch "Blow"!
